Q: How often can I submit questions?
A: You can submit up to 10 questions per week.
Q: When will we be starting?
A: Send me your first question as soon as you want.
Q: How quickly will I get an answer from you?
A: You’ll get an answer to each question you submit within 48 hours, usually less.
Q: Do I need to adhere to a schedule?
A: No. Submit your questions 24/7 and I’ll respond within 48 hours, usually less.
Q: How does the feedback process work?
A: Record a quick video on your phone using your regular camera. Send it to me using the free Voxer app. Then I’ll send you a personal video answer tailored to your exact needs within 48 hours—usually sooner.
Q: What if I don’t know what to ask?
A: Just send me a recording, and I’ll give you practice suggestions. Try them out for a day and send me a progress report. I’ll send you a video with what to do next.
Q: What the heck is Voxer? I’ve never heard of it.
It’s a free messaging app like What’s App. It works well on most devices regardless of your internet speed.
Q: What if I can’t figure out how to get Voxer to work?
Watch the video tutorial above. If you can’t figure it out after that, please email me at info@rebeccabogart.com to schedule a Zoom call to get you set up.
Q: What if I want to cancel?
A: No problem, you can cancel any time. I’ll send you an email reminder each week before Practice Buddy renews to make it easy for you to cancel if you want to.
Q: Is there a money-back guarantee or refunds?
A: No, because this service is so inexpensive, I’m not offering refunds. If you try it for a week and don’t like it, your total investment is less than a fancy coffee drink.
Q: Does this replace private lessons?
A: For some pianists, yes. For others, it’s a complement to private lessons. If you already have a teacher, they’ll actually thank me for this—because I’ll help set you up for more productive lessons!
Q: How much time will I need to commit each week?
A: There’s no time requirement. If you can practice even 15-20 minutes 4-5 days per week you should make significant progress if you follow my guidance.
Q: What if I can’t practice every day?
A: No problem. I always assume that you are doing the best that you can balancing the demands of adulting with your music dreams. I don’t believe in berating you to ‘try harder’. Plus, switching up your practicing techniques will help you make MUCH faster progress even if you can only practice a few days a week.
Q: How quickly should I expect progress?
A: Everyone’s aptitude, learning pace, and schedule are different. So progress varies. And, by applying smart focused practice techniques, you should see improvements in a few weeks.
